Pay My Bill Walk MS
Apr 6 |Drayer Physical Therapy Institute continues to participate in efforts to improve the lives of individuals diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. In 2017, we partnered with UAB and the Tanner Foundation to be clinical sites for a grant funded by Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute. Between AL, TN, and MS we have 26 centers and over 50 clinicians trained to provide evaluation and intervention for adults with multiple sclerosis. The grant will provide full exercise and rehabilitation services over the next 4 years to 820 participants.
Many clinicians have participated in several continuing education courses we have hosted and have established relationships with their local National MS Society Chapters hosting patient seminars.
THE NATIONAL MS SOCIETY’S MISSION IS:
People affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.
This year, for the second year, DPTI will be a National Sponsor for WALK MS. We will be participating in 14 walks across the company, in addition to raising money in each of these regions for the MS cause.
